The Christian faith, at its core, is the gospel announcement that God – the eternal Spirit who created, fills, and sustains the universe- has shown us who he is and what he’s like -in the flesh and blood human we sometimes call Emmanuel (‘God with us’).

After the completion of the Year One program, the Year Two Training Cohort completes the journey toward becoming a proficient Spiritual Director. Participants will gain fresh insights into ways of discernment, healing wounded images of God and self, while also exploring the ministry of Spiritual Direction as it relates to the history of Christian Spirituality. Participants will continue seeing two volunteer directees on a monthly basis as they learn the practice of peer supervision with other cohort members. Year Two is an immersive experience in understanding the unconditional love of God and how this unbelievable love can be passed on to others through the ministry of Spiritual Direction.
