Creative Writing Workshop

NEW FOR 2026-2027

Do you dream about cultivating your creativity?  Do you want to connect to your inner, God-given voice and to share that voice with others? Are you wondering how to begin exploring your creative gifts, but you’re not quite sure how to start?  Are you working on a project and longing for the support and encouragement of other creatives?

If any of these questions resonated with you, then please join Wellsprings Inaugural Creative Writing Workshop.

Workshop members will gather for four in-person workshops designed to build the skills and confidence necessary to embrace their gifts. In-person workshops will feature writing activities designed to deepen one’s connection to their creative gifts as well as support and expand their creative practices.

Our writing activities will explore both poetry and prose, and members will receive three individual consultations/feedback sessions with the facilitator to nurture their creativity and writing projects.  All genres and projects are welcome.

Jan Elaine Harris (she/her) is a Professor of Writing. Finishing Line Press published her chapbook, Isolating One’s Priorities. Recent poems appear in takahe, Abridged, Susurrus, Feral, etc. Jan loves running, swimming, and meditation almost as much as poems, but not as much as her two German Shorthaired Pointers: Malloy and Astrid-June.
